I was just adding it to the things that I do when at an event where honoring our flag is indicated. I didn't think that was confusing. <<Abdul Rauf's objection was, IMO, a farce. Sorry.>> As I have said many times today I do not have the same point of view as his. So IMO everyone should stand for the event. If, however, someone is firmly convinced that it is equal to worshipping an Idol, I would fight for their right to be given exception. I can't truthfully know what is in another man's heart but at the time I was convinced that Mahmoud believed what he was saying. At the time I would have fought you for Mahmoud's right to stand on his convictions. No body wanted or needed me to, thank God. As it turned out he had a change of heart and today it is a mute point.
