The examples are legion where B+ technology has trumped A+ technology due to the network effect. Why you are probably reading this post via Windows and not the MAC OS. Irwin and gang fortunately understand this 100%.

I'm sorry, but the GSM crowd isn't going to scrap their existing investments and wholesale adopt MC. [It would be GREAT to be 100% wrong on this, but alas, wishful thinking.]

So Q is better served by getting a smaller slice of a much bigger pie than the reverse. The question du jour is how much smaller [I hope not too much!] and what does "the market" anticipate?
