Yea, seasonality. The historic pattern of the summer doldrums for techs. Try as I might otherwise, I see this pullback playing out similarly to 1999's. Only it's happened a month earlier this year.

My concern this time is that some of these stocks may not bounce back on cue as they did last year. Take a look at the charts for hlth, isld, ppro, vert, icge, affx and cmgi, to name a few. It's awfully early in a seasonal pullback to see this sort of wreckage at this level of quality.

Should investors continue to fixate on 'value,' there's a lot more blood that can still be squeezed from these turnips.
