Electronic Program Guides in TORNADO!

Yep. That's my assessment thanks to some really important information provided by Andy B in the Gemstar folder. It's absolutely unbelievable that this news comes across my monitor almost exactly one year after the Qualcomm/Ericsson deal was announced and in my mind is no less important.

Andy provided the following link -- library.northernlight.com. -- to today's announcement by Thomson Consumer Electronics that they sold 2 million electronic program guides in the first quarter of 2000. At my request, he also quickly supplied the link -- biz.yahoo.com -- to the press release showing that they sold more than 1.5 million guides in ALL of last year. Folks, THAT is a tornado.

This is huge news we have been waiting for not just because of the implications regarding Gemstar, but more importantly because it shows individual investors that it is indeed possible to recognize the importance of real-time events as they apply to the most important tenets of Gorilla Gaming.

As I wrote about the Qualcomm/Ericsson deal, let the adopting begin.
