I agree, Tom. Several months ago, when Corel had dropped to the mid twenties (Cnd.), I predicted a price of $Cnd.12. I was ridiculed and scoffed at. We are pretty close now to my prediction. Corel keeps jumping from one "flavour of the month", to another, but cannot deliver bottom line. First Corel Suite would topple MSOffice, then Java, then internet boxes, then cheap offshore PC's (bundled with their software)and now Linus bundles, selling for $Cnd39. Where is the money Cowpland. Anyone can sell a "Cadillac" for "Chevette" prices, and lose their shirts. |
