U.S. defense stockpile ends FY00 platinum sales
WASHINGTON, April 7 (Reuters) - The U.S. Defense National Stockpile Center said Friday it was ending sales of platinum during fiscal 2000, which ends September 30.

The center was authorized to sell 125,000 troy ounces of platinum during the fiscal year, a spokesman said.
