I am glad you are on the rebound and sad I didn't start a new short in ZIXI after covering at 47 last Tuesday, but I still suspect one more big PR is in their arsenal for a spike. That's where I would like to hit it again.

I have seen several posts from shorts bemoaning the hard times since October. My question is - why do people get dogmatic about going long or short? If you take what the market gives you, you maximize returns.

I cleaned up going long since October and now have a few dozen shorts as a hedge to preserve those profits while I scoop up more good longs cheap (with a long-term time horizon).

Just don't understand why trading and investing seems to be an either/or proposition for some.

Thrown out for general discussion and reflection.
