In markets like these people tend to get a bit "snippy", anxious and downright obstreperous. Wives and husbands tend to snipe at each other at day's end when June says to Ward, "Say Ward, how was your day today, trading?" Ward ignores June, (there will be no nick-nick tonight) and hollers at the Beaver...who hasn't done anything...yet. Eddie Haskell, invited to dinner after saying, "Say Mrs. Cleaver, what a lovely dress you're wearing today" and June says "Why thank you Eddie. Would you like to stay for dinner?" Eddie says, "Gee Mrs. Cleaver I sure would. Your meatloaf is wonderful. But I must call my mother first because I don't want her to worry, (sure). Then he turns and we see that his smirk is wider than Rhode Island.
What I mean is, these ARE tough times in the market, especially if you aren't comfortable selling short. Sure, they'll get better, but until they do we gotta be nice to each other...be more like Eddie Haskell than Ward Cleaver. And read Jenna's Watch-Lists, the E/P's and her posts. It wouldn't hurt to click in to Pristine.com either. And play 'em close to the vest, trade in smaller than usual amounts...and always enter those stop-orders. (Lee) |
