You're kidding, right? Do you think this deal was a surprise? It was the most widely telegraphed deal I've ever come across. The company's been openly talking about it for many months, the press has carried stories for some time as well, and if these boards are any indication, it's certainly well known by the public. So I ask you: why do you assume that an announcement that is so widely expected (ie: in the stock already) would create additional value?
