jim: they are referring to systems to which memory is added after they are shipped to the customer. I reported problems with CC820 motherboards using SDRAM back in Nov-Dec timeframe when it looked like I was just a short. Hyundai SDRAM didn't work but Hitachi SDRAM did. Intel immeadiately provided us with the recommended DRAM devices. Just more grumbling from RDRAM laggards like Micron. Additional FUD to keep stock price down since they know RDRAM market share will stay low until RDRAM prices come down. john
