Is the transmission mechanism a given? AG also understands the effect of productivity gains. Also, what if increased home equities are being used to speculate in the stock market? Home values have been rising for a while now, like 5 years. Why is price inflation tame? And, before you say that the labor department is cheating, why isn't the popular press running articles pointing out price inflation, while they continue to do so for asset inflation?
