They were a heck of alot worse so I know first hand. My father who was an internist spent 8 months in a hospital in Israel because there was no one at home to care for his particular form of 'diverticulosis'.. They nearly wrote him off in the beginning.. At the end of the 8 months he was put into a really fantastic care facility in Jerusalem where he lived another 3 pain free years. Sometimes ones experiences color your perceptions and here we are sheparded from nurse to nurse until we finally see a doctor for 9 minutes after a 3 week wait. My son has a great education but thats because I moved into a good neighborhood to 'catch' the right schools. When he gets his scholarship, I'll say the government and I are even. I love this country, no problem here, opportunity is here for everything, no doubt about that. I'm just a bit socialistic from having living abroad for so many years.
