Well, I don't favor conspiracy theories.

regarding today's announcement, I have three thoughts.

First, it's more of the same. An announcement that will go unfulfilled.

Second, the convicted criminal fraud artist is talented at making things up as he goes along.

Third, the newly-hired PR firm, Merger, is paid to generate positive news releases frequently. Their own website says that producing lots of positive news releases is the service they provide, and that they expect these announcements to result in "increased volume." If there's nothing of substance to announce, then they can always synthesize something, like HITT making an "offer" to somebody. That's what they did today.
