value, because i know many of the hedge funds in IDC and none have given any such indication as a "bull to a bear"; they do protect positions and move dollars based on many factors. none i know of hired an "attorney group" to review patent claims...if you're referring to a firm like susquahana, who spreads rumors like butter, then anything they say should be questioned. given the current propositions facing the company it is difficult to believe that any such bear view would be seriously entertained except as a short term trading position

there are equally if not substantially better sources than attorney groups to review claims. and again, you didn't state to what claims you were referring, CDMA or TDMA.

if true, their entire proposition would be that a lower share price be attained. so why don't you ask them specific reasons as to why such claims are made. in this way we can all entertain specifics.

if your speaking of 3g claims, it is incredulous that such a statement is made since the 3gpp lists several IPRs which IDC owns that are considered "essential" to the production of 3g. so if the patents are "hooey", then 3gpp is hooey along with the ITU patent submission process and peer review. these "essential" patents (those that are actually approved) are reviewed by peers, not contrived, and considered "essential" to the process.

indepdent attorney groups are not the ones making final decisions in regard to the essence of a patent being declared essential. it is the peer review committees sponsored by the 3gpp.
