Many HWP shareholders are the Buy n Hold type
With high share price appreciation last year and this, we often want to sell some to keep our percentage of HWP in our portfolio from getting "too large" whatever that is.

With the split, there will be less of this "diversify" pressure as we will have stocks in two different companies. Many feel A is similar to JDSU or Bio or Semi .... all hot markets with high multiples so we may want to hold on to our shares for high price appreciation as LU saw when it split off from AT&T.

Anyway, I see reasons to sell less overall shares of HWP than I did before. Still, some A selling will take place just for asset allocation selling and this WILL add more shares to the supply/demand equation.
