Quincy. this issue was fully dealt with on several occasions. your claim of my assertion and what was actually stated are two separate events.

my assertion was that the previous agreements between IDC and Qualcomm would need to be reworked to include all aspects of the third generation standard. it would be fair to say that those past agreements, subject to their limitations would not apply to current assymetric data formats or all inclusive fdd spreads.

why is this hard to accept? obviously attorneys will develop different views on the same subject. i believe it is clear though (or will be made clear) that a new agreement will need to be generated.
