The risk now is that the Houses have let it go too far and they have lost control..I don't think they have...YET...it is getting close..I can't believe some of the people who are calling me..thinking about pulling deals,etc. Volts time capsule must kick in Thursday...if not I do believe we are in the midst of a bear market that will kill the houses as the IPO environment is seriously harmed...I had a conversation with a friend today who runs an IPO candidate, a really great bandwidth company, he says he is considering pulling the company from its IPO path...he says he does not need the aggravation other public CEO friends are going through...the Major Houses need to listen to this guy...they sponsered this sell off...and yet they are on the IPO gravy train...seems the train might run out of fuel.
