John,If VIX will not drop soon,that suggest we are in a bear market.For VIX is important not only high value ,but time as well. If you have a spike to 30 for 1 day,this is not a problem,but if VIX is hovering between 27 1/2-31 for a long time,this is danger in my opinion. el
