These numbers are stunning! Way to go NiceGuy for keeping the faith. AMD sold 6.5 million chips in 1Q. They are well on their way to selling 30 million for the year, not the previous high estimate of 24 million. AMD also did a amazing job keeping cost of sales down. Almost each dollar increase in revenues for 1Q 2000 above its 4Q 2000 revenues went to profit. That is impressive.
