Well John.. i dunno here yet...what with the VIX above 32.00 now, and we did test the lows here... maybe we are nearing this bottom..it's when things look the bleakest that we begin to rally hard.. i thought 3900/4000 would hold...no ceegar..the futures also tanked here below 1500, and the next fib retrace at 1487.00, was also taken out here...next stop is 1474.00.. this would be about a 62% correction, a serious oversold level imo... i see a real lack of buyers here...not real selling anymore..but no one wants to step up to the plate yet... they smell lower numbers here and better prices to buy... anyway i see the first line of buys will be the semis... KLAC will announce tomr am....and my KLIC held like, well i was just amazed how strong it was... and i sold it anyway...AMD crushed the number BIG!!! bodes well for INTC-AMAT and all the big cap semis... there's still this cycle low coming in Fri...and i'll just day trade for now... well be ok...everyone keep your powder dry...and get that cash ready... think short pops...up or down...
