The AMDroids have gone crazy over their uncharacteristic profit this quarter.The AMDroids are touting their unreleased products and comparing them against INTEL's and Rambus' released products. DDR-266 which is not extant as a product is being compared against RDRAM-800 which is a released product rather than the new version of the RDRAM which doubles the bandwidth and reduces initial latency in half. BILOW is trying to buy low. Scumbucket is dodging the "latency" issue he raised. RAMBUS beats estimates on lower unit sales last quarter than reported by Asia Biz Tech. Goldman Sach's reports lower than expected corporate unit sales of PC's during Q1 but it made up for by higher ASP. THe corporate PC rebound occurred in March. RAMBUS is on target to achieve their market projections. What else do we need to get this party going except the paid bashers on the YAHOO thread! :)
