Last week I had a conversation with the head trader at my daytrading brokerage. I promptly posted his message last thursday night Message 13368212 I proceeded to get out of all my positions on thrusday...and I started a little shorting on friday and more deeply on monday. I am not a great shorter - so...it has not been easy to do this. Very easy to get shaken out - and I still goto cash everynight - so I am just daytrading. I like most of you lost about 50% on my account during that last tank. I decided that I would learn somthing from last tuesday - and not let it happen again. I wanted to get my $$ back from the market. last tuesday was bad news for us all. This week with the words of Puff and some other traders saying we would retest and also what my broker said...this week should have totally been avoided by everyone on this thread. Yes this does suck - tanking is never fun. There have been some posters preaching it for a week - CNBC was saying retest - all the analysts were saying retest - and we are retesting. no big surprise. Like Puff says...the major support is 2800 - 2900, with some minor support at 3400 and 3000. Where we stop no one knows. we may bounce off 3650. If I am short tomorrow I will be covering my shorts as we near 3650 u can be sure of that. Depending on the bounce...I may or may not get back short. I hope the rest of this week and next go well for you all. Next week we will be hitting home runs - just have your cash ready. ciV
