So today we have pc to router and routers to router/atm to atm/router routers and router to pc. Lucent terabeam would also have some percentage of pc to terabeam to router/atm to atm/router to terabeam to pc Current estimates are 17 hops average in web surfing. Causes latence problems with streaming content. Now how many cisco routers does one find in the light. Lucent make terabeam much more real and terabeam creates lucent end to end. Tom Watson tosiwmee
