EMC Corp. (NYSE: EMC - news) will replace Atlantic Richfield in the S&P 100 Index. All companies in the S&P 100 are also in the S&P 500.
AFTER HOURS 128. ALL INDEX FUNDS WILL HAVE TO BUY BIG TIME. I REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED TO AOL AND TO YHOO WHEN ADDED TO THE S&P. UP A MINIMUM OF 25% WHEN THE DAY OF ADDITION TO THE LIST OCCURS.
