PT, Another step should be taken to get the real picture. The so-called rich folk need to be categorized. There are those who have worked their butts off to achieve success in business, have paid wages to many employees, contributed to charities, and tried to maintain control of the businesses they built by the sweat of their brow. Generally, they are conservatives who have no choice, these days, but to vote Republican. Then you have the suddenly rich by way of flukes. Movie icons, professional sports figures, rock stars, software geeks, etc. who happened to be in the right place at the right time and raked in the dough with a minimum of effort on their part. They tend to be liberal in nature and vote Democrat. They know their wealth is a stroke of luck so, do not seem to mind being raided, and raped, by the IRS. You can not lump all people with more money, than some think they should have, into one inseparable group. That tends to cause a biased opinion. ~H~ |
