hi david, re "I ran a file check and have a Himem.sys file folder" does this mean you ran system file checker? clickstream start\|programs\|accessories\|system tools\|system information\|tools\|system file checker also other tools there? like the driver tool? that seems like a great place to start, unless you're saying you've been there done that. :) mark
