Cyber: What do you have your eye on at e-harmon? Where can you find Internet companies with sustainable, long-term profits?

Harmon: We look at companies that are viral, something that customers perpetuate. We want to invest in companies that customers are so excited about that they tell other customers, so one dollar of marketing on the Internet can be worth thousands. If people aren't telling others about your product or service, you probably have a weak product or service.

We look at technologies, companies that are leading the wave of technology and defining the space, like Akamai (AKAM) in broadband content caching. Those are the things we look for, really innovative uses of the Internet -- companies like Commerce One (CMRC), Ariba (ARBA), FreeMarkets (FMKT) to some degree. I think there's potential in something like ExciteAtHome (ATHM) or Inktomi (INKT).
