cbstock,

In your earlier post (#81) you recommended Bernie Kaplan. I asked
and received a sample copy of TSFS. It was very good and I just
took a subscription (Email). Thanks for the lead.

There were several sector fund switching strategies, for example,
see item 4 in
cpcug.org

My 'select fund' database includes the select funds plus FECAX,
FEMKX, FHKCX, FJAPX, FLATX, and FRESX. I consider FRESX a sector
fund. The International funds are included to reduce risk.

I am a mechanical engineer. I was trained to always include a
factor of safety. Engineers are also trained to Keep It Simple
Stupid (KISS).

The primary tools I use are TC2000 and Industrial Rank. TC2000
is inexpensive. It is my data collector and technical analysis
tool. My fundamental analysis tool is the industrial rank from
Zacks Analyst Watch. I subscribe Zacks for my stock portfolio.
Value Line also gives industrial rank. VL is available in local
public library.

Best wishes,
