Ptanner,

The above P/E for AMD would make sense if earnings for this year are to be $2.18; however after one quarter we are more than half way there so that I would say a $3.50 eps is a lot more reasonable and that would give us a P/E of 23 vs Intel at 42.

With most stocks, the price gets ahead of earnings and revenues but with AMD its the other way around; the price trails its revenue and earnings growth.
