Globe says Inco, Pacific North West find platinum Pacific North West Capital Corp PFN Shares issued 8,492,000 Apr 7 close $3.90 Thu 13 Apr 2000 In the News See Inco Ltd (N) In the News The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, April 13, edition that high prices of platinum and palladium are attracting interest to the Sudbury area. The Globe's Business Report column says Inco reported yesterday that its new base metal discovery at the Totten mine contained 8.4 million tonnes of ore, which includes 4.7 grams of platinum-group metals. Also yesterday, Pacific Northwest Capital reported results from four new drill holes -- adding to the three previously reported -- in the Sudbury area assaying 1.6 to 2.5 grams and extending the drilling over 800 metres.
