I think everyone is trying to candy coat it. I'll tell you what puzzles me. The NAZ was trading at 5100... all time high... everyone was fat and happy. The thing starts selling off and people can't hit the exit fast enough. Now here we are at 3700 - nearly a 30% retrace.... My question. Why would anyone sell now? The experts are saying 3650, 3495 range should be the bottom... seems a little late to sell... like closing the barn door after the horses have already gotten out. Seems to me that we should have a quiet day of little selling and little buying.. maybe even a few days of it. But to sell here seems a little nutty... doesn't it???? Unless of course you beleive the NAZ continues to move lower but then... here's something to ponder. NAZ stocks are in higher growth markets and are generating better ROI yet the DOW and S&P are outperforming the NAZ... seems like the pendulum has swung a bit too far... no?
