It is a small world... smartmoney.com April 7, 2000 The SEC Drops the Hammer on Enterprises Solutions ...But there could be questions down the road for another brokerage firm ? Minneapolis-based Global Financial Group. The complaint also alleges that brokers in the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., office of Global Financial aggressively sold Enterprises Solutions stock to the firm's customers, using "high-pressure 'cold calls.'" In some cases, the brokers allegedly suggested the company would be "the next Microsoft." When asked about the role of his firm in the apparent stock scam, Kevin Miller, Global Financial's president, said he was not aware of any charges being filed against Cannon, Solomon or Enterprises Solutions. "I haven't seen a complaint," he said.
