I like Harmony Gold( HGMCY) and PDG. They are both pure gold plays that are profitable with good balance sheets. Gold is a currency so the key is to look at the US dollar Index and the Australian and Canadian currencies for direction as to when to buy. FN.T is a very good holding company but it is not a pure gold play. Plus, the royalties they receive from the gold companies they invest in is dependent on the POG. On the plus side, FN has no debt and $6 in cash.
