I believe that what the consumer sees is that 1000 MHz is larger than 866 Mhz... Benchmarks are way down the list for most consumers when doing comparison shopping. Benchmarks are too easily manipulated by optimizing compilers and optimizing the benchmark to show the desired result. Jim
