All,

Saflink has had a bad decline the past couple of trading sessions, that's true...but it is not like they have announced anything that we are expecting yet...have they? Relax. We have some shows coming up and that usually generates some PR...which will most likely be a good thing.

On a side note, our buddy IDX has yet to ship their damn dfr300...which is unfortunate...if we are able to sell it. I remeber having a conversation about this a while back...

If only their CEO had burped earlier...this conversation wouldn't have happened. Credit where credit is due, though...IDX did release the product delay after the fact.

They also announced the dell thing most have known about for a while...after all their compotent management let it slip in an interview. One has to wonder...if they are already selling with Compaq...which is the biggest puppy out there...how much can the sales be increased by this? It is not like it is going to be standard in any models...and the cheapest I could find anything on there is $112:

gigabuys.us.dell.com =2999&SearchType=OR

Nevertheless a distributor is a distributor...and it is an important step. Of course the more important step of getting the dfr300 out, and thus allowing pricing to be less of an issue, leading to sales...was missed. But I am sure once the rigorous "quality concerns" (read: get the damn thing to work) are overcome...all these distributers IDX has will gain them some revenue...enough to beat estimates in the positive direction for once. And if Saflink can sell this vaporware if and when it comes out...then we stand to gain too.

Reards,
Bob
