Some perspective - Just spoke with ML my LT broker-they are advising that tech is way oversold- and are now placing buys on all the 'deals'- expecting a quick broad rebound- their research says both countries economic fundamentals are too strong - mkt action is sentiment not fundamental -CAn and US have amazing lead and way ahead in the tech cycle- Europe experiencing early stage tech boom and M & A followed by Asia then Japan - they are predicting more strong years. This is the 'annual' tech dip- but in the big picture- we are on the front end of a huge long tech expansion with US leading by years.
