Don, for large prints up to 13" x 44" you can use the Epson Stylus Photo 1200 or the newer 1270. For smaller prints, I'm told the Epson Stylus Photo 870 or the HP Deskjet 952C or 970Cse (8-1/2" x 14" maximum page size) are excellent. When considering printers, also note that the quality of the print depends heavily on the software you are using. Adobe PhotoShop is the standard, and probably the most complex software ever designed for personal computers. I understand that there may be some software easier to use, but with the help of a couple of good books, I'm very satisfied with PhotoShop.

The cost of most of these printers runs between $200 and $300, less whatever discount may be offered. The larger format Epson 1270 is $500.
