Sy: I too am an oldster. Bought first stocks in early 50's...became NYSE broker in 1961...so have seen my "share". This market is a tad different than others. On Monday, the IBD featured Quint Slattery, portfolio manager at PBHG. He runs the (then prices) $ 1.36 billion Select Equity Fund and the $ 272 million New Opportunities Fund. See page B1. Quint is buying the dips...fine. "We" are going to need all the help "we" can get. I just wish he had a little more seasoning - you see, Quint is TWENTY SEVEN.......................... Best, Don
