That's fine, but it doesn't address my point. If we are going to have the death penalty, then I guess NO ONE person or panel of people should have the ability to administer it according to whatever the climate is politically. I think it's cruel and unusual punishment to have 10 people on death row all knowing that some "lucky" one may get their sentence commuted while the others go to their death.
