Today is a good example why you always need more than one broker. Cyber was WORTHLESS today. It is one thing for SNET not to work (Nas problem), but then when you try ISLD direct, you get "ISLD temporarily unavailable". So, if I can't use SNET, and ISLD is not available, how can I trade? I missed a lot of trades today because of these problems. Meanwhile, I had no problem trading w/ Datek. Saved my @$$. Datek has the liquidity through ISLD and their internal order matching before it hits ISLD. So, that way, in case SNET is down, you can often get crossed through ISLD, or even before it hits the book. Cyber has no such capability - and if their ISLD access is down, you are up the creek. Buyer beware. Today, I had to stop trading altogether with Cyber, and concentrate on Datek.
