I'm unclear as to why you would bring in Hilbert's work in infinite dimensional space. If your saying each discrete price point represents a different dimension-that would not seem correct. Rather I would think that Hilbert's work could be used to describe a stock price as a trajectory through many dimensional (degrees of freedom) space. The discrete prices would then represent points on a curve representing one degree of freedom, ie. price change. Other dimensions could be plotted - I suppose 6 to begin.
