Just talked with investor relations.

Their lobbyists are working on a Presidential veto due to Justice Dept. objections. The Justice Dept. considers the bill unenforceable and that it will just lead to more offshore casinos. Their objections were mentioned in the CBS Marketplace article. This is exactly what the Internet Gaming Council and all the other legal experts have said all along.

The Christian Coalition and convenience store owners pushed for the Pease amendment. The Governors Association fought the Pease Amendment. The state Lottery Commissions were not that organized to push their case. So that's why the Christian Coalition prevailed.

ELOT is pursuing other foreign contracts. Also ITSI, that has the English Charity Lotto contract, has contracts in Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Ukraine, and the Philippines. And ELOT has a business arrangement with ITSI in these countries as well.

So write the President, your governor, and your state lotto commission and tell them you want to buy lotto tickets online.

This is all so new, no one has a clue where this is heading. But ELOT is the pioneer in establishing legal, legitimate internet gaming. So if you think internet gaming has a future be patient and hang onto your shares.
