One thing about these markets. If alot of people take their cash out and sit and wait for the MOMO to return there is going to be some wide open road ahead.
I keep thinking about Sir Templeton and his philosophy of doing the opposite of what the majority are doing. When the majority are selling we should be buying.I know this is a position type mentality and not a momo one but it is pertinent none the less as I imagine there are alot of people who are now longer term holders of stocks out there and not by choice.
I agree with the oversold assumption and feel that the naysyayers(media and brokerages) have their work cut out for them if they want to see this turn around.
I wonder how many derivitive traders and brokers are collecting their parting commission cheques right now.....??????Not all but I bet some are crapping their pants and are nervous as all get out.
Well at least we haven't heard of anyone jumping out of windows yet but I suspect there will be something for the media to hone in on.They love this and the doom and gloom that goes with it and will be the ones making the money in the near term.
