Several things there, Jean. First of all, Microsoft isn't the "#1 tech company in the world". It's the #1 predatory monopoly in the world, and it WAS causing great harm to REAL innovation, and the long term health of our tech economy. If you don't understand that dynamic, well you *deserve to be a MSFT shareholder. From what I've read from you previously, you're smarter than that. --- Just because the Nazdaq started tanking around the same time as the gavel came down, you automatically jump up and blame blame blame Judge PJ as if it came outta nowhere? --- At least the U.S. DoJ had the BALLS to do something about it. --- This M$ stuff didn't happen because someone decided MS was just gettint too big for their britches. There's a whole long nausiating history with M$ business practices and the U.S. taxpayer. As an American citizen, I'm also an American tax payer and AS an American tax payer I've had to foot the bill for a lot of years of CRAP. Frankly, I'm tired of M$'s massive charade. I'm tired of enforcing
THEIR copyright law (which they won through lobbying) and which requires MY government to foot the bill in collecting the M$ tax. Then, I'm tired of M$ having absolutely no regard for ANY agreement, or ANY law which they didn't create. The only thing that's greater bullshit than that, is having to read greedy assed rants from people holding MSFT equity who insist that whatever makes THEM money is righteous. Is that how you measure right and wrong Jean, with your portfolio? --- I would suggest an alternate view for you to take which is "the market hates uncertainty". If there was a connection between Judge PJ's ruling and the price of tech stocks, that should all take care of itself as earnings, such as today's are released, and it becomes plain to see that the #1 tech stock in the world CLEARLY isn't M$ anyway, so it's merely a matter of rearranging the MSFT market cap. As a SUNW shareholder, I'm quite sure you'll be pleased to watch the dollars move from MSFT to SUNW. If you hold both, it may
not be as fun to watch (IMO). -JCJ |
