That depends, on what I don't know. You should put me on ignore for this one. Our long gone Chessie, Bud, came from real bird hunting stock. Duck and pheasant hunter in the 1st class. But we would find him swimming with mama duck and her babies in the wide part of our ditch. Like old friends. He had a way of knowing when to retrieve and when not to. Dog Kate brought home a wood duck, a baby not injured, and she is a pure killer. Dogs seem to have some thought, well some dogs. Cats and horses are another story.
