I think the win/loss ratio should be taken out of trials, all trials. I also think the public defender's also stink. No money goes to them so the defendants get as little legal protection as the law can allow. On the other hand we had a case in Illinois where a woman got dragged to death over several miles. He got 15 years. He was black with many convictions of violent crimes and she was a white slut. Played the race card.
