Rarebird: The markets are in turmoil. Gold is strangely quiet. I bought NEM today because I believe the stage is set for a revision of the "rules" governing this market. Like many others, I have jumped in too early, thinking the time is at hand. I might be doing this again. But I think there is a shift in sentiment towards capital preservation, and a strong likelihood that some fast-and-loose market players, including some who are short gold, will be hit hard the next few days. If gold jumps in the coming days, I will enjoy it more than anything else I have ever owned. Good luck.
