G: AMAT's demise today was a KLAC driven event IMO. KLAC broke down in the afternoon and took down AMAT. Looks like there were too many people who wanted to sell the earnings news in KLAC by the close at any price. AMAT put up a good fight but sold out in a firestorm. The semi equip liquid issues tanked and a good number of the illiquids did nothing except watch like deer caught in the headlights. Of course, the overall Naz market did not help matters. KLIC looks strong here.
