in truth, the predictions actually detract from the positive tone to me. Their implausibility and inaccuracy make a joke out of a post that otherwise contains very pertinent and useful information.

I disagree. I found niceguy's predictions right on the money. Predictions of earnings, revenues, direction of the stock. I just didn't pay as much attention to exact timing of the stock moves, which I don't expect anybody to predict. It's impossible. But from week to week, month to month, NiceGuy has been incredibly accurate. In addition, he maintains positive tone, which makes this thread enjoyable to visit.

As far as $100 by day X, Niceguy moved up his prediction based on the good earnings. Just look at it this way: Since Nasdaq is 25% below what it was just a few weeks ago, wouldn't it follow that AMD is also 25% below what it otherwise would have been? And that number is awfully close to $100.
