<<I KNOW you aren't comparing Cisco to Amazon, right?>>
Nope, just proving that when I incessantly post on something it is because I know I am right about the intermediate direction.
<<Been like that as long as I've been investing in the company.>>
Then you haven't been investing in it for very long. Back in 1996 when I was an associate at Bear Stearns, CSCO got crushed in the networking slowdown along with COMS, ASND, CSCC (do you even know what that symbol stands for?), SHVA, FORE, and many others...
Not saying that the fundamentals have changed, because they are actually pretty good right now, just saying that the valuation got WAY ahead of itself, even for CSCO standards...
By the way, my grandfather got CSCO at IPO in the early 90's, and he never sold, also bought MSFT in the early 90's (aftermarket, of course)...he passed away at Christmas time...but I never plan to sell the stock...so I do have an interest in the company and I have been watching it for a long time.
Can't wait to taste that beer!!!<ggg> |
